This area of our site features a few of the sketches from the original book Croquis De RUHLMANN. They illustrate the meticulous hand drawings of Ruhlmann. Notice the attention to scale and proportion that is evident even in the most rudimentary sketch. These sketches were passed on to Ruhlmann's draftsmen for interpretation into working mechanical drawings. Once the mechanical drawings were completed, Ruhlmann would then critique them for final adjustments before putting the piece into production.
